Community groups from all over North Somerset will get together for a day packed with activities and entertainment.

Your North Somerset will unite clubs and organisations from around the district to celebrate the best of what the area has to offer.

The event has been organised by Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS) with support from North Somerset Council and the Big Lottery Celebrate Fund.

Louise Roberts, equality and diversity manager at the council, said: “We are delighted to be working with VANS to celebrate the rich variety of groups and organisations in North Somerset.”

Your North Somerset will be held at the Tropicana in Marine Parade, Weston, on Sunday from 10am-5pm.

Entertainment will be provided on the stage by dance and music acts, and there will be family activities and information stands on offer.
