A documentary highlighting the history of a Weston estate will premiere in Clevedon on Tuesday.

The Curzon cinema, in Old Church Road, will screen The Truth Behind The Chocolate Houses, a film about the Bournville estate.

It is the outcome of a project organised between education provider Boomsatsuma and Weston Museum thanks to a £32,700 from The Heritage Lottery Fund.

A group of young people aged 11-19 who live on and around the estate have created a documentary which seeks to understand what the estate was like and how it has changed.

The film explores the changes through historical research and the oral history of the many senior homeowners on the estate.

The screening is free, doors open at 5.30pm and the film will begin at 6pm.

The first 100 people to reserve tickets will receive complimentary ice cream.

Tickets can be reserved on 01179 428429.
