Children enjoyed a dance day at Bognor House nursery.

Nursery pupils got on their feet and danced to the beat with a local instructor.

Hayley Grant from Dance Beats in Clevedon paid a visit to Bognor House Day Nursery, in Old Church Road.

Hayley taught the children various dances and different ways to move to music and how to clap hands to the beat.

Students did some animal dancing, galloping in pairs, marching like soldiers and more in dances which required listening and spacial awareness.

Deputy manager Sarah Blake said: “We had lots of fun and the children are really looking forward to having Hayley back for more dance lessons.

“She came in as part of our festival week where we do lots of festival activities from tie dying our own T-shirts, making head bands, face painting and lots of music and dance activities.”

Hayley runs Beat Dance classes in St Andrew’s Church, in Old Church Road, on Tuesdays for four to seven-year-olds.
