Staff at a community healthcare group have been named the top trainers of the year.

North Somerset Community Partnership’s (NSCP) learning and development team were announced as education and training team of the year at Health Education England’s South West Star Awards.

The award recognises the impact training has had on patient care and experience.

Head of learning and development Kemi Oladapo said: “We are thrilled to receive this award.

“It demonstrates the hard work which the team has been contributing, not only in the past year, but over a really long time.

“Each and every one of my team should feel proud as they have really earned this.”

NSCP chief executive Judith Brown added: “We are really proud of their achievement which is part of how we ensure NSCP’s staff are able to offer our patients quality care across all of our services.”
