Fire crews put out a blaze at a house in Kingston Seymour this morning (Wednesday).

Crews from Clevedon and Yatton were called to the incident in Rookery Close at about 1.30am to extinguish a fire caused by a dehumidifier on the first-floor landing of a property.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel to put out the fire, while two male casualties were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation and left with paramedics.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
