A singer who found fame on The X Factor will lead a workout session in Nailsea on Saturday to raise money for charity.

Chico, who reached the quarter finals of the reality show in 2005, went on to have a number one hit in the British Charts with It’s Chico Time.

He has now started Block Fit, which incorporates dance and combat with yoga-inspired moves and meditation.

Chico will run a Block Fit masterclass at Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, in Brockway, followed by a clubbercise session.

The event, from 9.30am to noon, will raise cash for Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from Scotch Horn.
