A fashion show has raised more than £1,300 for Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.

The event was held at Long Ashton Community Centre and it included stalls and a fundraising raffle.

Pip Sharp, one of the show’s organisers, said: “On the evening we had a range of amateur models of all ages, sexes, shapes and sizes who modelled both clothes from the charity shop and also one off pieces from a group of about 15 designers who had upcycled clothes and materials from the charity shop.

“These were all available to buy on the night.

“We raised £1,320.18 on the night and we still have some fantastic one off designer pieces which are at the Holly Hedge charity shop in Nailsea.”
