Essential Travel has issued the award for the airport’s Silver Zone car park and rewarded staff with a month’s supply of biscuits.

Since May last year, the website has given out a car parking award each month and Bristol Airport is the first on-airport car park to receive it.

Thousands of responses were received by Essential Travel, which included many nominations for staff who provided exceptional service.

This follows a £500,000 investment to improve parking facilities at the airport.

  • They should get an award for the most expensive, airport when it comes to car parking. Even their advertised 'cheap' short stay car park is almost £4 per hour. They are a rip off, the greediest airport in the UK.
