A POPULAR pub in Kenn has undergone an extensive makeover.
New owners of The Drum & Monkey in Kenn Road, James Townend and Julian Sarsby, carried out a five-week renovation before reopening the watering hole on June 22.
James and Julian, who also own The Hen & Chicken pub in Southvile, Bristol, said: “We are delighted with the results of the refurbishment.
“The Drum & Monkey has retained the real essence of a proper pub in its bar area, while the previously barn-like restaurant has been totally recreated to give diners a feel of real intimacy.”
