A family business is moving to a bigger site in Clevedon to cope with demand for its products.

Signet Signs Ltd was founded by Roger Harris in 1971 in a garage in Hilldale Road, Backwell. The company has been based in the village for more than 40 years but it is moving to a much larger building in Windmill Business Park.

The business has doubled its workforce in the past eight years due to demand.

Managing Director Mike Rawlings said: “This is a reflection of the incredible work of the whole Signet Signs Ltd team. Our new premises will allow us to produce greater volumes of signage at highly competitive rates.”
