An Abbots Leigh care provider has received a ‘good’ rating after its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Leigh Court Centre, in Pill Road, earned a ‘good’ score in all five assessment criteria at its June inspection.

The care service is run by Freeways which provides personal care to individuals living in specialist extra care housing, meaning people receive support in their own homes.

In its report, the CQC said: “People’s support from Leigh Court Centre was individualised person-centred care which enabled them to live meaningful lives.

“People and relatives felt staff were good, they were very kind and caring and respected the privacy and dignity of individuals.

“People enjoyed achieving goals which were inclusive to them and the manager and the support staff provided a service which was person-centred and enabled people to live a healthy and improved quality of life.”
