DOG handlers and their pets will have a grand day out with Wallace and Gromit at Tyntesfield Estate ahead of a charity event this weekend.

The Kennel Club Charitable Trust and the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation will join forces on Sunday for a sponsored walk around the grounds of the Wraxall heritage site.

Bouncy castles, face painting and other stalls will be set up for the Grand Day Out event.

Elizabeth Carrington-Porter, a development manager for sponsors Foresters, said: “Encouraging all the family to take their four-legged friend out for a wonderful walk in the countryside will not only provide families with a lovely opportunity to spend time together but also help to raise much needed funds for poorly children and dogs throughout the UK.”
