North Somerset Council has announced new parking restrictions in Nailsea.

The council has announced that a new set of double yellow lines will be painted in Nailsea to improve traffic flow and road safety.

The new parking restrictions will be found between St Mary’s Grove, with the lines themselves being found from property 58 to 64 on the road.

These new restrictions are part of changes across North Somerset that will see the council implement new parking restrictions in Clevedon, Long Ashton, Backwell, Pill & Easton-in-Gordano, Wrington, Weston-super-Mare, and of course Nailsea.

The public have until 5pm on April 26th to submit any objections to the council.

North Somerset Council have stated: “The amendments are designed to improve road safety at certain areas, provide additional on street parking areas, to facilitate the passage of traffic, prevent danger to road users, to prevent damage to the Highway, and help to improve the amenities of the local areas.”
