A PHOTOGRAPHER will hold a presentation in Nailsea on air travel and the impact of Bristol Airport on the surrounding landscape.
Photographer Jo Shepherd will show her research project ‘Thresholds’ at Nailsea Town Council next month.
The project is part of her MA degree at Falmouth University.
Thresholds consider air travel from a local perspective, examining Bristol Airport’s rural location and the airport’s effect on the surrounding landscape.
It also links the demand for air travel to the carbon and non-carbon emissions of flights and considers the future of air travel towards 2050, by which time the UK needs to be ' Jet Zero' (carbon neutral).
The event will take place at Nailsea Town Council's Community drop-in space on 65, High Street, Nailsea on April 4, from 9am to 1pm and April 5 from 12pm to 5pm.
