THE closing time of a Portishead public toilet block has been amended due to reports of anti-social behaviour.

The closing time of Wyndham Way toilets has been temporarily changed to 4pm. This is due to anti-social behaviour taking place in and around the toilets.

Anti-social behaviour is defined on the Avon and Somerset Police website as "any activity which causes harm to an individual or a community."

This could include drunken behaviour, causing a public disorder, underage drinking, littering, anti-social driving and graffiti.

Posting on Facebook, a Portishead Town Council spokesperson said: "Change of closing times for Wyndham Way toilets.

"Following anti-social behaviour in and around the toilets on Wyndham Way, we will be temporarily changing the closure time to 4pm.
