A BOGUS 999 caller was back before the courts for failing to comply with a court order.
Michael Drake, 20, of Queen's Avenue, Portishead, appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court for breaching a community order on two occasions.
The court was told he missed an unpaid work session on November 30 last year and a probation supervision appointment on February 22 this year.
Drake admitted the breaches and was sentenced for the original offence of causing "wasteful employment of the police" by making a 999 call falsely claiming an offence had been committed on February 16 last year.
Magistrates in Taunton this week issued a new community order.
Under the order, he must follow a rehabilitation activity requirement to comply with any instructions from a responsible officer to attend appointment or to participate in any activity as required by that officer up to a maximum of 10 days.
