Hobbits, elves, wizards and warriors do battle during a 12-hour screening of one of the best-loved fantasy trilogies in history.
Following the triumph of last year’s Harry Potter-thon, the Curzon bring people a day and night of viewing of all three Lord Of The Rings films.
Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of J R R Tolkien’s beloved novels not only inspired a world of wonder in hearts and imaginations but also provided a blueprint for blockbuster films of the 21st century.
All three Lord Of The Ring films saw huge commercial and artistic success and it one of the must-watch film series of the generation.
Set in the fictional world of Middle-Earth, the films follow the hobbit Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) as he and the Fellowship embark on a quest to destroy the One Ring and its maker Lord Sauron.
But when the Fellowship slips up, it is up to Frodo to continue the quest with his loyal companion Sam (Sean Astin), and the treacherous Gollum (Andy Serkis).
The critically-acclaimed films have received many awards and 17 out of the 30 total Academy Award nominations.
The final instalment of the series, The Return Of The King, won all of its 11 awards it was nominated for.
Cinema-goers will be able to sit back and relax at the Curzon from midday to watch The Fellowship Of The Ring, The Two Towers and The Return Of The King in quick succession.
