Pupils make 'green' boats

GREEN-MINDED youngsters had fun making solar powered boats and learning about the environment last week.

Pupils from East Huntspill Primary School had a day centred around recycling and pollution and were visited by Jenny Bull and Morgan Griffiths from Bristol's Centre for Sustainable Energy.

As well as making boats, students also took part in activities and PE games to learn about climate change.

The green-themed day was to prepare youngsters for a topic on the environment next term.
