In memory of mum

TWO sisters will be encouraging people to tuck into some cake and a cuppa on Saturday in memory of their mum.

Melanie Tripp and Debbie Longden are holding a tea party for The Eve Appeal.

The twins lost their mum to ovarian cancer last April and will be busy raising money this weekend for the charity that funds research into five gynaecological cancers.

Last year their mum Pat was able to join in with the tea party, but she died the following month.

Melanie and Debbie hope to raise more than £1,000 on Saturday for The Eve Appeal.

Any females are welcome at the event, which is being from 11am-4pm at 14, Mendip Road, on the former RAF Locking camp.
