Scouts seek help to deal with rats

SCOUT officials in Banwell have sought help from community leaders to kill off a rat problem at their village base.

The scout group approached the parish council on Monday night for assistance to clear the rodents from its hut.

Councillors have agreed to pay up to £350 for a pest control operation at the West Street premise.
